A raised floor (also known as raised flooring or access flooring) provides an elevated structural floor above a solid base (usually concrete) to create a hollow space for the passage of mechanical/ electrical wiring as well as network cabling. False Ceiling
A False ceiling is a fitted ceiling that hangs below the original ceiling of a room or home. It is usually suspended by wooden or metal frames. False ceilings are great for acoustics, can hide wires, bring lofty ceilings lower and insulate the room.
